All Fannon medium-wave infrared lamps use a fast response “star” coil that heats up in less than 1 second. Utilizing a medium wavelength is very important when it comes to multicolor silkscreen processes. Medium-wave is less color sensitive to light and dark inks and plastisols in comparison to a short-wave infrared emitter.
Fannon “star” coil lamps are direct replacements for the OEM and are rated for 5000+ hours of operation. Our lamps are very competitively priced, typically held in stock, and ready to ship.
